Easter and the Elderly

There’s absolutely no reason for the elderly not to enjoy Easter. And this was proven with Camilla Parker Bowles’ recent efforts into the creation of an Easter Bonnet.

The Duchess of Cornwall – 70 years old – engaged in some arts and crafts when she visited the Fair Close Centre. The senior home – which has a royal connection anyway given that it was open by The Queen Mother herself back in 1967 – last year marked 50 years in service to senior citizens in the UK’s West Berkshire region. As well as its full- and part-time staff members, the centre is full of dedicated volunteers who make festivities like Easter all the more special.
