The Importance of Mobility

Everyone needs to exercise. The importance of not staying stagnant can never be underestimated. This is true for the elderly as well. And even those who are not mobile and confined to a chair. In this video put together by GrowYoung, we see how one can exercise even from a chair. These exercises should thus be followed by everyone, irrespective of their physical limitations.

In fact, according to the American Heart Association, “physical activity is proven to improve both mental and physical health. It tackles anxiety, depression and anger. It enhances your immune system and decreases the risk of developing diseases such as cancer and heart disease. Becoming more active can lower your blood pressure by as much as 4 to 9 mm Hg.”
