Are you in a long-term relationship with a significant other? Would you like to be? Either way, some standard dating activities can start to feel a bit worn out after overuse. Somehow, you just don’t feel like having dinner and seeing a movie, even just one more time.
Here are some alternatives to spice up your night-life with your steady, whether it’s your spouse of 50 years, or a friend you are just getting to know.
- Restaurant hopping is a great way to try a few different restaurants all in one night, to add a bit of spice and variety to the experience of dinner out. Pick an area with many restaurants, and do cocktails and appetizers in one, main course in another, and dessert at a third. Not recommended for calorie counters, but it is great fun.
- Are you fascinated by the night sky? Go find a dark spot, arm yourself with a book on the constellations, and look up into the beautiful heavens above, together. See how many constellations and individually named stars you and your sweetie can find. If you have a smart phone, download an app which locates the stars and constellations for you. How romantic, and educational!
- Here’s one that might seem cliché, but can be a lot of fun: go mini-golfing. Not strenuous, but just competitive enough to get the circulation flowing between you and the competition.
