Dry Harbor Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center graciously accepts admissions seven days a week. We staff a full-service admissions office that understands the many types of care we offer and how our services can be tailored to individual residents. Our goal is to provide all our residents with the exact services they need, when they need them. Each of our new residents is welcomed with a new outfit of clothing, a fresh floral bouquet and care package. It’s our way of making them know they are welcome, and that they will be pampered while they’re here. Shortly after admission, the patient is evaluated to determine a plan of care that specifically addresses their goals and condition. Their preferences for various aspects of their stay with us are carefully noted so that they can be made as comfortable as possible.

Knowing their treatment is going to be covered by insurance can relieve stress for residents and families, and so help in their recovery. That’s why our administration office is always available to help families maximize their benefits whenever possible. Our insurance experts are the best in the business at finding the most benefits from each individual’s coverage plan.
Dry Harbor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center is affiliated with numerous HMO’s and managed care programs, and we actively court acceptance by additional insurance programs as they come on line. Our facility is certified by both Medicare and Medicaid, through both the federal government and the State of New York.
In most cases, Dry Harbor requires appropriate authorizations from a resident’s HMO or managed care program before services are rendered in order to ensure that those services will be covered. Check with the admissions office if you have questions.
